Artist Spotlight...

With Chris and Carleigh
San Francisco Artists/Designers...
collaborating functional architecture with wearable metal design.
Detail orientated and both driven artists, Chris and Carleigh have
the perfect balance as an artist couple. They are care free yet so
driven to create beautiful work that it's a pleasure just to be around them!
They work hard to create harmony between both men's jewelry and women's jewelry.
And most of the time they are creating a unisex collection that works best for BOTH.
They aren't your run of the mill Jewelry line either.......
Fathom and Form uses only precious metals and serious design techniques....
above you can see their sterling silver double barrel rings....
There's Carleigh above adoring one of her new necklace designs
It pays off to look on the brighter side of life and live artistically....and they do just that.
I've never met a pair that cares so much about being happy as much as with what their doing.
And this seeps directly into their work.
They love it, and it shows.
Check them out, they are amazing!
xx

Proud....

So... amidst all the commotion, parties and bondage sessions I was able to find solace in certain spots. This was taken early morning (11am) on the greens in front of city hall on Saturday.
We were the official photographers for Smirnoff Vodka this weekend and so it's been a bit of a wild one. None the less I was happy to seek out some lay-abouts enjoying a little of the down time SF style.

Mezzanine Recap...

Thank you again Irene for hosting such a great show of artists and musicians at the Mezzanine this past Saturday... and so much more. It was great to network with new friends and see old ones get introduced. They really had it goin' on out here, and it was so nice to see what's new with some of the artists. Check Irene out at her location WONDERLAND out in the Mission. Her shop is unreal, and this woman has a library of a brain as far as information on the arts in our city.
Truly a gem ! Thank you again!

Conifer!

such a beautiful store
Owner Amy & Rob Kimball
2848 Webster St. (right off of Union St)
Open since 2010, owner Amy Mautz has a cascade of followers
that are being driven to Conifer on a daily basis for her taste and couture.

Her designer back ground fits right up there with the 'ideal boutique owner.'
If you've made it, you know what it takes to make it well. And as you can see, she does.
She picks it, and sticks it for us girls who like all things that are nice.

I am in adornment about this beautiful linen shirt.... I want it so badly it hurts!
With Winifred Grace, Etten Eller, the Bluma Project, Wendy Nichol Long, Stephanie Shneider  and more local/global artists catering to the jewelry display you won't be shy of tasting.
She simply has glorious pieces.
See the Jewelry Designer list here.
New and colorful, just right to keep it light on the pieds.
Continuing on with the magnificent jewelry
Conifer's personality is interesting because it's light & fun but also super detailed& exquisite.
It's a special store for MANY women near and far. Her clientel come from all over the neighborhoods to seek out Amy's inspired collections.
I love it, and I will be back as a shopping trip is much needed for my special summer nights!
Summer Sale starts June 27th!

Oh! And she would go to Turkey!
(One of the questions I always ask the owners is Where would you go tomorrow if you had an Around-the-World ticket arrive on your doorstep)

Wake up Baller....

It's a glorious day for a bike ride! and what a perfect city to explore!

Go find the Buffalo white dove
...and the waterfalls, and all the statues hidden in Golden Gate Park!

Kiss and Makeup!

In the thick of it now.
as a continued recap of my trip to Cape Cod, it's imperative that I do one final toast to Provincetown.
I came back again and truly pulled an 'I'm on vacation, don't ask me to do anything.... " move and treated myself to a nice long stroll with out any time restraints. Only that I had to enjoy the shops and find something to treat myself with.
And here I find the perfect store to do just that. It's called Kiss and Makeup and it just opened and Christine is the owner, she's wonderful...
With just the right amount of treats for a girl to choose from I was
pleasantly surprised to see this new store to have such a nice spark to it.
Christine has the right idea. Clean, pretty, and well stocked.
Here's Christine above, just a doll and her store is amazingly put together.
It's such an inviting store that you just want to treat your self with something nice while you're inside.
I told her if she ever had room for some pretty jewelry that I would love to be apart of what she's doing xx
My very favorite right now.
Tokyo Milk. it's amazing, you can find it here in Ptown at Kiss and Makeup
then over at Boutique Fawn in the Marina in San Francisco.
I suggest a stop in, it's amazing
Thanks Christine!!

Snug Cottage

Along the way through P-town I was so glad to enjoy a quick visit at the Snug Cottage
Brian and Bill are the owners and are some of the sweetest people on the planet.
Right off of Bradford Street it's easy and accessible yet quiet and
cozy enough to hit the town and crawl back into a nice little love den.
With gorgeous greenery throughout the entire property, it's an artist's
dream to come here and put his brain on vacation. Actually anyone in need of an escape from down town conglomerate madness can come here and put their mind at ease.
 Food for thoughts.....
The beautiful Victoria Sweet starting at just 145.0 USD a night was just stunning!
Put my pearls on the boudoir baby....
Start it out.... picture your day....
Early morning coffee
Breakfast Buffet
After noon wine & Snacks
flipping' fantastico
So sweet, Brian above showing us out.
Come out, take a break. Hop on a bike and cruise in your most stylish gear.
Back out Montauch, Provincetown in the best kept secret for a Summer away.

I'm telling you, give this guy a call, you'll be happy you booked it.

P-town!

...and to know this all exists in a little place they call Provincetown
Where the salty bar connects with the hearty Atlantic is Provincetown.
A place with narrow streets and secret doorways that lead to string lighted Never Never Land.
It's true, when I was young I came here with some friends to an Artist's house.
The former Charles Hawthorne to be precise.
His land was littered in string lights that tappered from one strange building to the next.
It was how I imagined never never land to be.
I remember one path lead to this lit up space ship looking building, with room for maybe 1 or 2 young lovers to kiss in the light of the moon.
This is not my young lover, nor is there a photo that could ever replicate my feelings in that memory.
But you can see it through the faces of all who roam here.
You can tell by the looks on their faces that they know about the thunder.

Rem Dog....

oh the rem dog

Cape Cod recap!.....

Pushing and pulling.... these tides all the time.... everything in constant flow.
I absolutely love going home for a visit.
I know that I grew up here, but I've traveled so much that I can revert to my 'travel self' when I'm here.
Initiating things on a slower, more aware pace.
The birds in the out door shower... and the bees!
All the new flora and fauna I haven't seen in 6 months
I am pleased to know this is where my roots are.
I am here and now, but I have been many places
(above the solar lighting set at my friend Katie's house....)

Cape Cod recap!

Here are some images from the Cape Cod photo shoot.....

In the world I am in the grass I am all over this place
Above and below are the Botswana Hand Cut Gemstone earrings
The natural variation in the stone is what makes it so beautiful. In essence we are like stones, shells, and feathers. Birds yes, but we have these oh-so intricate particles that come together to form you and me.  In this case it's elements that form inside the earth..... cease to amaze.
 The beautiful Carnelian.
Tangerine in color, taste is in your eyes
 Mexican Fire Opals... j'adore
It's the natural graduation in the stones color that really makes it stand out.
Don't be fooled by the shades, not one color is better than the other.
Take your whites into the lime light and see the opals sparkle
