Urban Bazaar is my favorite hidden gem in the city, along with many others. As proof they were the winners of this year's "Best boutique 2011" by SF WEEKLY. Located in the Inner Sunset on 9th avenue between Judah and Irving. . They are nestled in like a warm little cookie. Owners Brandi Chalker and Briana Bers keep a tight shop and know all the key elements in putting together a unique boutique. They met a craft fair while vending their own handmade goods and since then they've been working hard to keep local artists and fair trade items in booming business.
It's a feel good store with their all local and fair trade goods.
From warm and fuzzy mittens to bottle tab bracelets they have specialty everything.
Their passion for fair trade and localism shines through all their beautiful items.
Usual time spent in a store like this ranges from between 10 min to an hour for me so be prepared to hang out and look at things. They really pack it in here, Nice and neatly

If you are on the hunt for a gift whether it be guy or girl, young or old, they have something out of the ordinary and special.
They even have works from yours truly (see above)
From vagabond Indie Craft fairs almost every month to a fantastic Succulent Bar in the back these girls work their bums off to put together a wonderful store.
Special thanks to Brandi (left) and Briana (right)
Check them out online and apply for their Vagabond Indie Craft Fair in December!
