This month has been filled to the brim with adventures south, north, east & west. With inspiration coming through every door we open. From meeting the younger couples up in Sonoma working hard to establish their names in the Wine World, to the older generations of painters and creatives in Bolinas and Point Reyes.
We live in such a nest of lively energy and are surrounded by some of the world's most beautiful landscapes.
Still, it's often times hard to see the glory as we (sometimes) get distracted by all of the tech money in the city.
I suggest a plan this week and forever weeks if you dare to join.
TAKE ONE HOUR OF ONE DAY THIS WEEK TO DO SOMETHING YOU ENJOY.

& Camping
This past month we've adventured South into no man's land off the coast of Big Sur. We hiked miles to a beach down a switch batch dirt paths with overwhelming poison oak bushes just to reach the sound of the bright blue ocean.
Drove hours back into the wilderness in hopes to find Mountain Lions, eat Eagle eggs and finally find our mantra for the evening.
Which was naturally found upon setting up camp in the glorious setting.
Can you hear the people working the cash registers at REI just screaming to be with us... ya we knew it too.
And of course there was our true blood Jenny who raged her inner Dancing Pony spirit throughout the rolling countryside.
Jenny you inspire us all the time.

One thing noticeable in this city is cultural freedom and the open attitude towards clothing, demeanor and choice of personal lifestyle. This being said it'd be nice to see a little bit more inspiring people walking down the streets. Although it's a city, it's San Francisco, CA. The birthplace of free love and spiritual lifestyles.

Don't forget to stock up on the florals for the house. Put out an old mason jar and fill it with flowers from your neighbors yards. "Pruning is all part of the process Mrs.Barker!" I try and go early in the morning when I 'prune' the neighborhood.

An artful reminder to keep your heart open
Sonoma's Cornerstone center, just before your turnoff to town off 0f 121, has some of the coolest art instillations we've seen in a minute. We found ourselves loaded with vino options from the most excellent Meadowcroft Winery Tasting Room where our favorite Darby hooks up the flights of the season. We're members there and it's the coolest thing since Pinot Nior. Free tastings, bi-monthly bottles, private tours.... you name it they're doing it and it's all made locally using
eco-friendly tactics.
The gardens are just a hop skip and away from the tasting room and with a little self guidance you find yourself drawn to your own magical world.
The "Wish Farm" is an interactive instillation where you can write your wishes onto shiny stands of paper and tie them up to add to the existing wind tunnel of wishes.
Sonoma, a world just waiting for you to get a buzz in.
