Donner Lake in the winter.... just before the snow hits.

This lake won't freeze either so it trades off activity for scenery with it's walkable coastline and great skipping rocks. Reflections of a slower paced lifestyle fill the imagination.

I wouldn't trade Salsa every night of the week but there's something to be said about a ToDo list that consists of chopping wood and making dinner.

Charlie loves the Lake of the Sky (Tahoe)

He's rather a mountain dog I'd say as his daily activities here also include a smaller todo list of: 

Rock Climbing

Drinking the fresh water

Introducing himself to other 'mountain' dogs

Plus eating fresh Hamburgers from the local Burger Me out in Truckee.
